Michael Stowell is a Physician Assistant, starting his PA career after 30 years of military service.  Michael is a Colorado native, growing up on a horse and cattle ranch north of Colorado Springs.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and started his military career after graduation.  Michael served as a Signal Officer, Human Resource Officer and Medical Service Officer, completing his final position as the Commander of the Medical Brigade and the Director of Human Resources in the Colorado Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Colonel.

Michael earned two additional Master’s degrees, one from Colorado Technical University in Management and one from the US Army War College in Strategic Studies prior to his retirement.  He began his new passion and completed his Physician Assistant education at Idaho State University in Boise, Idaho and is a board certified Physician Assistant.  Michael is excited to provide quality care to children of all ages and looks forward to building a collaborative relationship with patients and their families.

Michael has lived in Castle Rock since 1997.  Michael is married to the love of his life, Angie, who is a retired Colonel as well and a financial adviser.  He has two adult children, a daughter who graduated from Colorado Christian University and is an autism therapist and working on her Masters in Psychology and a son who graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder and is a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot in the National Guard and works for Lockheed Martin.  Michael and his wife share most of the same interests including hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, ballroom dancing and working to improve their home.
