Laura Westover is a native Coloradan. She graduated from the University of Denver and attended the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Medical Campus. She also holds a Certificate of Added Qualification specialty designation in Pediatrics.

Laura is passionate about building long-term relationships with families and loves being able to watch children grow and develop. She seeks to treat the whole patient and is dedicated to helping the whole family system thrive. Prior to joining Castle Rock Pediatrics, she spent six years working in a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric subspecialty practice and hopes to bring that experience and knowledge to the practice.

Laura is thrilled to be working in the wonderful community of Castle Rock where she lives with her husband, two kids, and rescue dog. In her spare time she enjoys reading, and staying active in the outdoors. Becoming a mother has added to Laura’s understanding of pediatric practice and she loves to come alongside parents in their journey of parenthood keeping kids safe, healthy, and thriving from birth through young adulthood.

Laura is also a Certified Lactation Counselor! She offers breast feeding counseling for mothers and babies. She would love to meet with you to answer any specific breast feeding questions, to watch a feed, or just to discuss the process!
